Farkhanda Ijaz

Farkhanda Ijaz is a Doctoral Research Student at the School of Business and Law, University of Brighton. She researches in several fields such as Child Labour, Social Issues, Education, Rights of Women in Politics, Human Rights, Labour Law and Islamic Law but the main focus of her research is on Child labour. In addition, she engaged with different official departments especially Lahore High Court (LHC), Punjab Bar Council Hafizabad (PBCH), Public and Private Libraries and Child Protection Organizations etc to collect her research data during her L.L.M Research. 

Currently, her PhD research project explores "The Impact of Child Labour on Cognitive Development among female children in Developing Countries".

Much of her teaching experience in Human Rights and Academic English Writing and Grammar. Additionally, she delivered lectures in Human Rights, Islamic laws, Education, Law of Evidence, and Research Methodology.

Her Pedagogic approach brings student_centered and practical tasks for students to take from the digital classroom to the real world.

She is passionate about delivering and attending events and Seminars. She brings line experience to the classroom and she encourages students' participation, discussion, and critical thinking.
