Approach to teaching
Coming from a Primary teaching background, I aim to make my teaching interactive and with resources to support understanding. I have had many years' experience teaching primary school children and bring to initial teacher education a belief in the importance of a holistic education in which the child comes first.
As well as being Programme Leader on the PGCE Primary 3-7 and 5-11 courses, I am also a PAT, teach primary mathematics education on PGCE and undergraduate courses, and educational studies for the PGCE.
